What exactly is the difference between loose-fill and Poured in Place surfacing? It's one of the most common questions we get asked. That's why we created a brief comparison on some of the key differences between the two types of surfacing.While loose-fill surfacing (pea-gravel, sand, EWF) is traditional, it can contain hidden costs (not to mention hazards) which can greatly reduce the safety and integrity of the playground.
